ABOUT US

An independent international academic publisher.

Datarsoft Publishing House is a division of Datarsoft Tech Private Limited (CIN: U62091GJ2023PTC145084), headquartered in Ahmedabad. Built on five years of scholarly infrastructure work for India's national research databases.

Built on the foundation of five years of scholarly infrastructure work — UGC-INFLIBNET, SWAYAM, NIRF, IRINS, Shodhganga — Datarsoft Publishing House combines deep technical capability with serious editorial ambition.

Who We Are

Datarsoft Publishing House is an independent international academic publisher headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. We publish nine peer-reviewed open-access research journals across engineering, medicine, life sciences, management, humanities, education, law, and agriculture.

We are a division of Datarsoft Tech Private Limited (CIN: U62091GJ2023PTC145084), incorporated in October 2023. Our parent company partners with 48+ universities and government institutions in India, including Gujarat University, GTU, NFSU, Marwadi University, and Punjab Agricultural University, and has built scholarly infrastructure for India's national research databases (UGC-INFLIBNET, SWAYAM, NIRF, IRINS, Shodhganga).

Our Mission

To raise the standard of scholarly publishing in India and globally — through radical transparency, rigorous peer review, modern infrastructure, and an unwavering commitment to authors' rights and readers' access.

Our Founding Charter

Datarsoft Publishing House operates under four immovable principles:

1. Integrity over volume

We will publish fewer, better articles rather than more, weaker ones. We will reject papers — including from prominent authors — that do not meet our standards. We will never compromise editorial rigor for revenue.

2. Transparency by default

Every editorial action, every indexing application, every metric, every timeline — public, verifiable, and updated in real-time. The world's first article and indexing lifecycle transparency.

3. Service to authors

Authors keep copyright. Authors decide fees with full disclosure. Authors receive permanent DOIs, permanent archives, and permanent recognition. Authors are served, not exploited.

4. Permanence

Every article is archived in CLOCKSS and Portico. If we cease to exist, our content survives. Authors invest a career in their research — we honor that with permanence.

Why Independence Matters

Datarsoft Publishing House is independently owned and operated. We are not part of a multinational publishing conglomerate. We are not driven by shareholder demands for ever-increasing margins. We are not bound by century-old subscription business models.

Our independence allows us to:

  • Set transparent APC pricing without cross-subsidizing legacy products.
  • Build modern technology (transparency dashboards, JATS automation, ORCID-native workflows) without legacy constraints.
  • Make editorial decisions free from commercial pressure.
  • Serve Indian researchers and Global South research with appropriate priority.
  • Maintain ethical standards higher than industry norms.

Our Team

Datarsoft Publishing House is led by an editorial leadership team with backgrounds in scholarly infrastructure, university research administration, and Indian higher education regulation. Our parent company's experience with UGC-INFLIBNET, SWAYAM, NIRF, IRINS, and Shodhganga gives us deep institutional knowledge of what makes scholarly publishing work.
