Submit your work in six simple steps.

Sign in with ORCID, upload your manuscript, and our editorial office acknowledges within 24 hours. The 14-day clock starts immediately.

Whether through our portal or by email, submission is straightforward. Every step is documented on your public lifecycle page from the moment you click submit.

Submission Portal — Six Steps

Step 1 — Sign In

Sign in with your ORCID iD for the fastest experience (your name, affiliation, and publication history are imported). Alternatively, create a Datarsoft author account with email.

Step 2 — Choose Journal

Select the journal that matches your work. If you are unsure which journal fits, use the "Find Best Fit" tool — describe your work and receive recommendations.

Step 3 — Manuscript Details

Provide:

  • Manuscript title.
  • Abstract (250 to 350 words).
  • Keywords (5 to 8 terms).
  • Manuscript type (research / review / short communication / etc.).
  • Subject area tags.
  • Funding sources and grant IDs.

Step 4 — Authors & Affiliations

Add each author with:

  • Full name.
  • ORCID iD (required for corresponding author).
  • Institutional affiliation (ROR-matched).
  • Email address.
  • CRediT contribution statements.
  • Identification of corresponding author.

Step 5 — Files Upload

Upload:

  • Main manuscript file (DOCX, LaTeX, or PDF).
  • Figures (high-resolution TIFF, PNG, or PDF).
  • Tables (separate file recommended).
  • Supplementary materials (data, code, multimedia).
  • Cover letter (optional).
  • Ethics approval certificate (if applicable).

Step 6 — Declarations & Submit

Confirm:

  • Originality declaration.
  • No simultaneous submission.
  • Conflict of interest disclosure.
  • Funding disclosure.
  • AI use declaration.
  • Suggested reviewers (3 to 5, optional).
  • Excluded reviewers (people with conflicts, optional).
  • Author agreement to journal policies.

Click "Submit Editorial Application." Receipt of submission is confirmed by email within minutes. The article's lifecycle page is created within 24 hours.

After Submission

Within 24 hours, you will receive a confirmation email containing:

  • Your manuscript ID.
  • A link to your article's public lifecycle page.
  • The expected timeline for each editorial stage.
  • Your editorial office contact.

Manuscripts via Email (Alternative)

If you prefer to submit by email rather than portal, send the manuscript toejournal@datarsoft.tech with the subject line "[Journal Acronym] Submission — [Manuscript Title]." The editorial office will create your portal record and confirm within 2 working days.

Submit your editorial application first. After acceptance, request a fee waiver via authors@datarsoft.tech. Waiver decisions are made by financial staff independent of editorial decisions — payment status never influences review.
