In Vivo Evaluation of Nanostructured Lipid Carriers for Transdermal Delivery of Insulin Profiles

Dr. Robert Chen, Dr. Anjali Mehta

Oral insulin administration faces critical bioavailability hurdles due to gastric degradation. This research designs and evaluates nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs) to achieve transdermal delivery of insulin. In vivo studies using diabetic rat models demonstrated that our customized NLC patch formulation successfully penetrated the epidermal barrier, maintaining stable blood glucose levels for over 24 hours with zero skin irritation.

Epidemiological Trends of Multi-Drug Resistant Tuberculosis in Southern Urban Hubs: A 5-Year Cohort Analysis

Prof. Maria Rossi, Dr. David Campbell

This study analyzes clinical data from a cohort of 1,200 tuberculosis patients across urban healthcare centers to evaluate changing resistance profiles against first-line antibiotic treatments. The analysis identifies key socio-demographic and therapeutic factors associated with treatment failure. Our findings suggest that decentralized diagnostic centers and digital medication adherence systems are vital to control outbreaks.

Efficacy of Bio-compatible Hydrogels in Accelerating Wound Healing under Diabetic Conditions

Dr. Sophie Dubois, Prof. Carlos Gomez

Diabetic ulcers show poor healing tendencies due to prolonged inflammation. This paper details the formulation of a highly bio-compatible composite hydrogel infused with epidermal growth factors. When applied to full-thickness wounds in diabetic mice, the hydrogel accelerated re-epithelialization, boosted collagen deposition, and successfully reduced healing time by 35% compared to commercial gauze dressings.
